In-Person Hands-On Gourmet Mushroom Growing Workshop – Learn to set up and grow your own bucket of mushrooms!!

This workshop will be at Quartz and Company in downtown Howell, Michigan!

In this one-evening workshop, you’ll be assembling your own mushroom-growing bucket and setting it up to grow your own pink oyster mushrooms. Supplies are included, and you’ll get to take your bucket home and harvest amazing mushrooms a few weeks later – they’re revered by chefs and home cooks alike for their flavor (they taste like bacon when you fry them!) and the flare that they add to a multitude of dishes. In the name of teaching the whole process in one evening, we’ll be starting your buckets using grain spawn that we’ve prepared using our in-house liquid culture ahead of time, but we’ll be going over the process of how to start grain spawn using liquid culture as well (it’s super easy) and if you’d like to get a few cultures so that you can grow additional varieties at home, those can be added here.
