If you’ve grown some beautiful mushrooms and you’re ready to try cooking with them, here’s our new recipe center to point you in the right direction! It’s hard to go wrong when you’re cooking with gourmet mushrooms – if you’re looking for a starting point to get a feel for the flavor and texture of any given kind, we recommend sautéing a small amount in butter for a few minutes over medium heat with a tiny pinch of salt. This will give you a better idea of each variety of mushrooms’ flavor profile before you dive into a whole recipe. If you’re new to the world of gourmet mushrooms, you’ll soon find that between each variety of mushroom, there’s a vast difference in flavor and texture, so even if you’re not sure whether or not you like mushrooms yet, try a few varieties and you’re likely to find one that you adore.
